Hello!

It’s January 26th 2021 as I’m writing this (12:43 PM if you’re interested). I realised I haven’t written a blog for a few months so I thought I’d write one today explaining everything that I’ve done during the countless lockdowns. (Except for trying to lose weight whilst watching Netflix for 5+ hours a day).

When the UK went into its first lockdown on March 23rd 2020, I don’t think I fully understood what has gone on but I knew that we’d all have to stay home and couldn’t meet or do anything. One of the main things that concerned me the most was that I could tell live events, entertainment industries and small businesses would be majorly affected for the foreseeable future. I had a goal for 2020 as well. In October, I was planning on bringing my séance themed show “Lucid Nightmare” to a supposedly haunted location but I could tell that wouldn’t be possible so I had to scrap the idea. (More on this later).

I decided in April that the best thing I could do whilst locked up at home would be to promote myself and my services online (primarily on Instagram) for when things start going back to normal. I started by making a list of what I wanted to do and started drawing plans as well as changing from filming on my iPhone to filming on a professional quality camera with a microphone fixed on a tripod. I set a challenge to create as much of the content I was filming and to post every other Thursday. So far so good – I’m still going. The main aim of this was to get people to notice the quality of what I do and make myself a little more seen for what I do. Finally, I want to talk about my séance themed show “Lucid Nightmare”. As mentioned above, I wanted to make it a reality in October 2020 but clearly that wasn’t possible. However, due to the wonders of modern technology and 15 friends who helped me promote it, I was able to cut the show’s length down and perform around 40 minutes of it on Zoom to people from all around the world! (I assume you know what Zoom is but if not, it’s essentially like a FaceTime video call with lots of people). I have a lot of plans regarding my Magic, Mind-Reading and Comedy for when I can go out and perform again and I plan to bring “Lucid Nightmare” to the location I desired for an exclusive, intimate séance show. (I’m aware the theme of this particular show isn’t everyone’s cup of Earl Grey, so, I’m limiting tickets to quite a small number so get them while you can when they go on sale.
